UPPCS Interview Schedule & Call Letters Released on 13th February 2023. This is in reference to the 2022 Cycle. The UPPCS Interview will be conducted between 20th February to 21st March 2023. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh launched the new website of UPPSC on 3rd January 2023. With the launch of this new website, all future notifications regarding recruitments under UPPSC will be made and informed through this website. Also, the One-Time Registration Process (OTR) has also been introduced and each candidates candidate will have to complete the OTR process before applying for any recruitment. The official UPPCS Notification for the 2023 recruitment cycle will be released on the official website. Last year, for 2022, the notification was released on 16th March 2022. So, it is expected that the notification will be released in the month of March or most probably in April month. UPPCS Exam Vacancies 2023

The official details for the UPPCS 2023 vacancies are yet to announce. A total number of 250 vacancies were released for UPPCS Recruitment 2022. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the circumstances/requirements. The posts for which the recruitment will be conducted are expected to be Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer (Transport), District Basik Shiksha Adhikari / Associate DIOS and Other equivalent administrative posts, District Administrative Office, District Audit Officer (Revenue Audit) etc. Have a look at the table given below to find the UPPCS Posts for the 2022 recruitment cycle.

UPPCS Application Process

Candidates can apply for the PCS exam online mode only. To apply online for UPPCS Exam, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the new website of UPPSC (https://otr.pariksha.nic.in/).

Step 2: First complete the OTR Process using your credentials and get your registered ID & password. Make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of result.

Step 3: Once OTR is done. Login and fill in the mandatory fields like name, address, contact details, educational details etc.

Step 4: Keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per the requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these during filling out the form.

Step 5: Submit the Application Form.

Step 6: Take out a Print Out of the Application Form for future reference. By following these above steps, you can submit your UPPCS Application Form successfully.

Note: As per the official UPPCS Notification, if the Commission finds the provided application information as untrue/false, the respective candidates will be debarred from sitting in not just the current exam but also in other future exams conducted by UPPCS including other penalties as deemed fit. 

UPPCS Exam Application Fee (Expected)

The UPPCS Exam Application Fee for various categories have been mentioned below:

• General/OBC - Rs.125
• SC/ST - Rs.65

UPPCS Exam Selection Process 2023

The selection process for UPPCS Recruitment 2023 is expected to consist of three stages:- 

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Mains Examination
3. Interview.

The Preliminary exam will be of an objective type. There will be multiple choice-based questions on the Preliminary Exam. There will be a total of two papers, each paper will be of 2 hours duration. 

The qualified candidates in this examination will have to appear in the Mains exam. The Mains exam will have subject questions. The total number will be 1500 and the candidates have to write full-fledged answers in this round. 

The last round of the selection process will be the Personality Test (Viva-Voce). The qualified candidates in the last rounds will be qualified for the posts after verification of all the documents. The final merit list will be out after the completion of the Selection Process.

UPPCS Exam Pattern 2023 (Expected)

The UPPCS exam pattern for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment/Special Recruitment) and Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer Services comprise three successive stages viz:-

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choices)
2. Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination)
3. Viva- Voce (Personality Test)

UPPCS Prelims Exam Pattern

UPPCS Prelims Exam will be conducted in 2 papers, Paper I and Paper II. Both papers will be of 200 marks each. However, Paper I will consist of 150 questions and Paper II which is qualifying in nature will have 100 questions.

UPPCS Mains Exam Pattern

After the candidates have qualified in the prelims exam, they will have to appear in the main examination. The questions asked in the Mains examination will be all subjective types. There will be a total of 1500 questions asked in the exam.

Marking Scheme to calculate UPPCS Prelims Marks for Paper 1

• General Studies Paper for UPPCS Prelims 2021- I am made up of 150 questions worth a total of 200 points.
• Each question is worth 1.33 points.
• The contestant loses 0.44 points for each wrong answer bubbled.

Marking Scheme to calculate UPPCS Prelims Marks for Paper 2

• The General Studies Paper-II of the UPPCS Prelims 2020 consists of 100 questions for 200 points.
• Each question is worth two points.

Age Relaxation
