SSC CHSL Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions
Once your SSC CHSL Application process is done, you are advised to follow these exam day guidelines and maintain the SSC CHSL uniform code of conduct as pointed out below -
- Access the official list of SSC CHSL Exam Centers details and location one week before the exam to know about the exam hall location and other travelling information from particular SSC regional websites.
- Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam centre at the time slot mentioned on the SSC CHSL admit card under ‘Reporting/Entry time’.
- Notably, no candidate will be permitted to enter the venue after the gate closing time
- Follow formal dress code and other uniform guidelines as mentioned earlier.

SSC CHSL COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
While the pandemic has set foot on various states and regions across the country, the commission has mandated special safety protocols apart from the SSC CHSL uniform codes. Check out all COVID-19 related exam-day guidelines below -
- Avoid crowd-gathering at the entrance. As a result, the SSC has specified respective reporting time for candidates.
- Maintain social distancing guidelines of at least 6 feet from one another
- You must carry face masks, transparent water bottles, personal hand sanitizer and gloves for caution
- Thermal guns will be used to measure the temperature of the candidates.
- The candidate's photograph will be taken at the registration desk. As a precaution, no thumb impressions of candidates will be taken.
- Do not carry pen/pencil or other stationeries as it will be provided before the exam to your allocated seats in a contactless manner.
- After completion of an exam shift, candidates will be allowed to leave in an orderly way i.e., one at a time.
- Candidates will submit their rough sheets in the designated box at the exit of the examination hall.
