The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL Typing Test Schedule for applicants who qualified for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 descriptive test on September 18, 2022. SSC CHSL Typing Test - Required Skills To Clear SSC CHSL Skill test
The Module II of section III Test, often known as the final test, can become more difficult than you might expect if you don’t possess the required skill set. The majority of applicants believe that after passing the written exam, they would be able to easily pass the SSC CHSL Module II of section III Exam, which won't be a significant deal for them. Before appearing in the Typing Test students should attentively read all of the instructions for the typing test that are presented below in order to be proactive and ready for the test.
- Candidates need to have the necessary skills to pass the SSC CHSL Typing test for Hindi and English typing.
- For the English language, applicants who want to reserve a LDC/JSA Seat must press at least 10500 keys in an hour. It is 9000 words per hour for Hindi.
- Candidate who want to reserve a DEO/ DEO Grade A seat must press at least 8000 keys in an hour.
- 30 words per minute should be the bare minimum for Hindi typing.
- A minimum of 35 keys per minute must be pressed when typing in English, which translates to a speed of 35 words per minute.
- The SSC CHSL Skill Test for LDC/JSA post will last 10 minutes. 350 words must be typed within 10 minutes. For visually impaired people, the time allotment is 35 minutes.

SSC CHSL Typing Test Tool Rules
The candidate can use the tool which is mentioned above to enhance the speed of the typing. Below are the rules to check how to use.
- The candidate must type the paragraph in the "TEXT AREA".
- The tool will give your the typing speed in the real time.
- The candidate must posses a speed of 35 Word Per Minute in English to qualify in the typing test.
SSC CHSL Typing Test for Person With Disabilities
“Persons with Disabilities” candidates who claim to be permanently unfit to take the Typing Test because of a physical disability may, with the prior approval of the Commission, be exempted from the requirement of appearing and qualifying at such test, provided such a candidate submits a Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-XIV of the official notification) to the Commission from the competent Medical Authority, i.e., the Civil Surgeon of a Government Health Care Institution declaring him to be permanently unfit for the Typing Test because of a physical disability. To substantiate the claim candidates need to furnish the relevant Medical Certificate in the prescribed format as per Annexure-XI to Annexure-XIII of theofficial notice, as applicable, at the time of Typing Test. Otherwise the claim for seeking exemption from Typing Test will not be taken into account by the commission. Candidates can check the complete provision in the 14.9.7.6.7 section of notification released by SSC.
Tips To Clear SSC CHSL Typing Test
- It is necessary to practise daily on the computer and at least one month beforehand.
- In order to improve your command of your typing skills, candidates must type paragraphs daily that use a variety of fonts, formats, and sophisticated formatting.
- Your punctuation, spacing, and spelling must be at least 90% accurate.
- Remember that accurate formatting is required.
- Candidates must type at a speed of 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi.
- In 10 min, solve the case. You should be able to type 350 words in a total of 10 minutes.
