The board will release the notification for the 2023 cycle for a total of 101 vacancies. TNPSC CESE Examination Fee Concession

The candidates of MBC (up to 3 attempts), ex-servicemen(up to 2 attempts), and PH (not less than 40% disability) of Tamil Nadu state and Destitute Widows will be exempted from the examination fee. The candidates belonging to PWD/SC/ST will have a full concession.

Selection Process for TNPSC Combined Engineering Services  2023

Candidates will be selected by the marks obtained in two successive selection processes i.e. Notification of 2023 is not released yet by the authority so we could expect the same selection process as the previous year for 2023.

TNPSC CESE Written Examination

• It consists of Paper-I (Subjective Engineering) and Paper-II (General Studies).
• Once the applicant clears both papers, he/she is eligible for the next round of the selection process.

TNPSC CESE Interview/ Certificate Verification Round

• This round does not carry any marks. 
• This will be the second round of TNPSC CESE recruitment 2023, where all the claims made by the applicants in the application process are verified.

TNPSC Combined Engineering Services​​ Exam Pattern 2023 (Expected)

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Combined Engineering Service Examination 2023 is expected to consist of three stages i.e. Paper-I (Subjective), Paper-II (General Studies), Interview. In the table below we'll discuss the complete exam pattern which includes the type of exam, duration of the exam, and maximum marks awarded for each exam.

• If the candidates do not secure the minimum qualifying marks on Part-A of Paper-II, their answer sheets for Paper-I and Part B of Paper-II will not be evaluated.
