SSC CPO 2022 Exam Pattern
Candidates who will qualify for the SSC CPO Paper I will be shortlisted for the Physical Endurance Test (PET). Those who qualify in the PST/PET or SSC CPO Physical test shall appear for Paper II.

A. SSC CPO Exam Pattern Paper I
- Only on clearing the written examination, candidates will become eligible for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
- The time duration of Paper I is 2 hours.
- The exam will have four sections viz. General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and English Comprehension.

B. SSC CPO Exam Pattern PST/PET
Candidates who qualify in Paper I will be called for Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test, i.e., PST/PET test.
SSC CPO Physical Standard Test
Candidates should have the minimum physical standard as mentioned in the table below to be eligible for the next phase of selection.
- Weight: Weight should be in correspond to height.
- Chest Measurement: No minimum requirement for chest measurement for female candidates.
- Eyesight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In a right-handed person, the right eye is a better eye and vice versa.
- Tattoo: Tattoos will be allowed as per the following stipulations only:
- Content: Tattoos depicting religious symbols or figures and their name, as followed in the Indian Army are permitted.
- Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like the inner aspect of the forearm but only the left forearm, being a non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands will be allowed.
- Size: Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.

SSC CPO Physical Endurance Test
The Physical Endurance Test will test the efficiency of the candidates. There will be certain tasks that should be completed by the candidates in the prescribed time to qualify.
SSC CPO Physical Endurance Test For Male Candidates:
- Running 1.6 km race in 6.5 min
- Running 100 meters race in 16 sec
- High Jump of 1.2 meters in around 3 chances
- Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in three chances
SSC CPO Physical Endurance Test For Female Candidates:
- Running 100 metres race in 18 seconds
- Running 800 metres in 4 minutes
- High Jump: 2.7 metres in three chances
- Long Jump: 0.9 metres in three chances
C. SSC CPO Exam Pattern Paper II
- To reach the last stage i.e. the medical examination, candidates have to be strong in English Comprehension.
- Paper-II will judge the candidate’s comprehension skills.
- The total duration of this paper will be 2 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer for both Paper 1 and 2.
- Paper II shall only be attended by candidates who pass the Physical Test.
