The SSC Head Constable syllabus and exam pattern are very similar to that of any other competitive examination. The computer-based test also includes a section of general science questions. The SSC Head Constable syllabus for the computer-based test is given below.

To be considered for the position of Head Constable - Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO), candidates must first pass a computer-based test, followed by a physical measurement test and other tests. The SSC Head Constable exam pattern for all rounds is as follows:
The computer-based test will only include objective or multiple-choice questions. Candidates' marks in the Computer-Based Examination will be normalised using the Commission's published formula.

After passing the computer-based test and being placed on the merit list, candidates must pass the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). In order to advance in the SSC Head Constable recruitment process, both male and female candidates must meet the following medical standards.
Candidates who pass the Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) will be invited to the Trade Test. Candidates must pass the Trade Test in order to be eligible to take the Proficiency in Computer Operation exam. Those who do not appear or do not pass the Trade Test will be disqualified.
All candidates who pass the Trade Test (Reading & Dictation) will be required to take a qualifying Test of Proficiency in Computer Operation. This examination will include two subtests, which are as follows:

The English Word Processing Speed Test will be performed on a computer and will be judged based on the correct entry of words/key depressions (1000 key depressions in 15 minutes) as per the given printed passage in English containing 200 words and entered into the computer in Word Format of MS Office.

SSC Head Constable Final Answer Key for CBT Paper I 2022 has been released on 20th Jan 2023. SSC Head Constable Provisional Answer Key has been released for the exam conducted on 27th and 28th October 2022. Candidates can challenge the answer key between the 9th to 12th of November 2022. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Head Constable Admit Card for the Computer-Based Examination for the CR, MPR, NER, and WR. The exam was scheduled to be held on 27th October and 28th October 2022. The candidates have appeared for the exam for a total number of 857 vacancies for SSC Head Constable Recruitment.
