SSC Stenographer Skill Test to be reconducted. The dates of the test will be announced soon. Earlier, the SSC Stenographer Final Answer Key was released for the CBE held on 17th & 18th November 2022. SSC Stenographer 2023 Application & Exam Dates Out. The application dates are from 2nd August 2023 to 23rd August 2023. The exam will be taking place in Oct-Nov 2023. The Skill Test (2022 cycle) will be held on the 15th and 16th of February 2023. Candidates could apply for the said post till 5th September 2022. The SSC has announced that it will reconduct the Skill Test for Stenographer Recruitment 2022. This is for the Shift I & Shift 2 tests conducted on 15th February 2023. The dates for the same will be announced shortly.The exam is being re-conducted due to complaints received from various regional commissions. For details refer to the notice attached below.
The Staff Selection Commission has released the final answer key for the SSC Stenographer Exam 2022. The CBE Exam for the same was conducted on 17th & 18th November 2022 and results were announced on 9th January 2023.
The Staff Selection Commission has released the CBT Results for the SSC Stenographer Exam 2022. The CBE Exam for the same was conducted on 17th & 18th November 2022. The skill test will take place on the 15th & 16th of February 2023.
As per the official notification, SSC Stenographer vacancies will be notified in due course on the official website of SSC for the year 2022. Till then, the candidates must check out the final vacancy count for the year 2020.

As mentioned above, the candidates can apply for SSC Stenographer Exam from 20th August 2022 to 5th September 2022. For the same, the candidates can check out the direct link and the steps that must be followed to apply.
Step 1: The candidates first need to register themselves on the SSC online portal, the direct link of which is given above.
Step 2: Once registered the candidates can log in by using their credentials (Registration Number and Password).
Step 3: Now check “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2022” under the latest notifications.
Step 4: Click on apply at the bottom right and fill in every personal detail asked against all the fields.
Step 5: Upload the Photograph (Allowed File Size: 20 KB to 50 KB, Format: JPEG/ JPG, Image Size: About 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
Step 6: Upload the Signature (Allowed File Size: 10 KB to 20 KB, Format: JPEG/ JPG, Image Size: About 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
Step 7: Click on “I Agree” and Enter the Captcha. You can click on Preview to verify all your details. Also, note if the preview is not working, that means you might have skipped any required field, so go through the fields once again.
Step 8: After Preview, Click on Submit.
Step 9: Under the latest notifications only, you will find the below-mentioned links:
Print, Download Offline Challan, Payment, Payment Status, Application Status, Double Verification of Payment
Step 10: Use these links to pay the application fee, check the payment status, and more.
Step 11: Once done with everything, the candidates must download their application form and keep a printout with them for future reference.
Note: The candidates will have to specify whether they are applying for SSC Stenographer “Grade C” or “Grade D”, or both.

SSC Stenographer is responsible for taking dictation of speeches, meetings, conferences and other documents in shorthand and transcribing them into documents.
