• The overall weightage of  Paper 1 is 200 marks.
• Stage 2 is Paper 2 which is a descriptive type  written exam for 300 marks.

SSC JE EE Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates applying for this recruitment must be familiar with the SSC JE Electrical exam pattern, as this would help them prepare well and improve the chances of scoring better.

• The exam comprises 2 sections- Paper 1, Paper 2
• In Paper 1 will be a computer-based test with objective type questions.
• In Paper 1 there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
• Paper 2 will be descriptive and will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
• A candidate will be allowed to bring his/her own slide rule, calculator, log table and steam table for Paper 2.
• There will be no negative marking in Paper 2.
