Note: A final merit list will be prepared for the shortlisted candidates who clear the SSC CHSL Cut off of all these stages successfully. Also, the official notification is not released yet but the stages mentioned above are as per the Examination.

The Tier-1 selection process of SSC CHSL 2022 is given below.

Tier II will be held in two sessions i.e Session –I & Session II, on the same day. Session-I will include conducting Section I, Section II and Module I of Section III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section III. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all Tier II sections.

The normalization process is a method that is used to adjust the scores of candidates appearing for different shifts or different sets of exams. This process is used to ensure fairness in the selection process. This is necessary because of the varying difficulty in the different sets and shifts of SSC CHSL exam.
The normalized score is calculated by taking into account the mean and standard deviation of raw scores of candidates in each set or shift. The raw scores of candidates are then converted to a standardized score, based on the mean and standard deviation of the set or shift they have taken. This ensures that the final score reflects the relative performance of candidates across all sets or shifts of the exam.
The document verification process for SSC CHSL is conducted after the written exam and skill test. The purpose of this process is to verify the authenticity of information that is provided by candidates in their application form and to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the post they have applied for. Following are the stages or processes of SSC CHSL Document Verification.
The information provided in the application form must be accurate and up-to-date. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents or provide incorrect information will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
The final selection and the allocation of departments to the candidates will be determined based on the performance of candidates in the Tier-2 Exam.
Based on the merit list, the recommended candidates will be allotted to the posts of PA, SA, DEO, and LDC. Candidates are not allowed to change their preference for a post once it is declared.
