CGEGIS | CGEGIS means Central Government Employees Group Insurance Scheme. In order to support the employee and his/her family, a lump sum amount is provided to improve their retirement capital. This scheme also provides a two-way profit process which includes a specific insurance cover. |
CGHS | CGHS means Central Government Health Scheme. This system provides the employees and their families with medical assistance and help in case of emergencies also. |

Candidates selected for any positions under the recruitment process of SSC CHSL can expect a good career growth. They will get promotions too after a few years of their services. Since the salary depends on the designation of the candidate, there will be a hike of approximately 20% too. For this, candidates have to qualify for the departmental exams after gaining the required experience. Furthermore, there will be a hike in the SSC CHSL salary every year and DA will be increased.
