13th October 2022: RRB Group D Answer Key Notice Out!

The official notification for RRB Group D Recruitment has already been released, however, a fresh notification announcing the details of the RRB Group D Exam dates has been released as of 8th December 2021 and the following are the important events and dates to be taken note of - 

RRB Group D Notification - Type Of Posts

RRB Group D Notification 2022 was released by the board under adv. no. RRC 01/2019 (Level 1 posts) on 23rd February 2019. A total of 1,03,769 vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and other posts in various departments of the Indian Railways have been released and the exams for the same will be held on 17th August 2022. The types of posts offered in the RRB Group D are listed below.

RRB Group D Vacancy Post Wise Details

Important notice concerning RRB Group D vacancies 2022was issued by Indian Railways. In 1,03,769 notified vacancies for the RRB Group D 2022 hiring, Indian Railways has reserved 20 percent vacancies (20,734) for apprentices. In addition to the notification, RRB Group D 2022 vacancies were announced by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). 

The Level 1 positions will fill a total of 1,03,769 vacancies. Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman are among the posts. Based on Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination, recruitment into these RRB Group D vacancies will be carried out. RRB Group D Application Form 2022

The RRB Group D application form has been closed now. The exam will be conducted for the applications made from 12th March 2019 to 12th April 2019 on 17th August 2022. Step 8: Now login with your Registration number and password and provide your educational details, upload the documents like Category certificate, Marksheets etc.

Step 9: Verify all the details and click on submit once your verified complete details,

Step 10: You will be redirected to the payment gateway website once you click on submit.

Step 11: Pay the required amount and click on the submit button.

Step 12: Once the payment is successful, your application will be generated.

Step 13: Take a printout of the generated application form and payment receipt for future reference.

RRB Group D Application Fee 2022

What is the Eligibility Criteria for RRB Group D Recruitment 2022?

Eligibility criterias are one of the major aspects one needs to fulfill before he/she applies. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, Nationality, etc. will be rejected by the authorities. Below are the various eligibility criteria.

RRB Group D - Age Limit

The age limit of the candidates who are applying for RRB Group D must be between 18-33 years of age. Although there will be age relaxations for the reserved categories. 

Age Relaxation:

Note-

• The candidate needs to show the Birth Certificate or Category Certificate as proof of age.
• OBC certificate should also clearly indicate that the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer as defined by the Government for applying to posts will not be considered as the reserved category candidates.
• The candidate cannot change the community status once submitted while filling the online application form.
• The candidates enjoying the age relaxations must produce the original category certificate to claim the category of the candidate.

RRB Group D Educational Qualification

The candidates who are applying for RRB Group D posts must pass 10th or ITI from the institution, which is recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT(National Council of Vocational Training).

RRB Group D Nationality

The nationality is the first aspect seen by the higher authorities and will proceed with the candidate for the further rounds.

The candidate must be an Indian citizen or

i) A Subject from Nepal or

ii) A Subject From Bhutan or

iii) A Tibetian who came over India before 1st January 1962 who was intended to settle in India Permanently.

iv) The candidates who are migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma to settle in India permanently.

For the candidates from i, ii, iii, iv points, an eligibility certificate should be issued from the government.

• The Total number of questions asked in the RRB Group D CBT Exam are 100.
• The RRB Group D CBT Exam is conducted for 100 marks.

• The duration of the RRB Group D Exam is 90 Minutes.

What is the Minimum Qualifying Marks for RRB Group D 2022?

The minimum qualification marks to qualify in RRB Group D CBT examination is different for different categories. Below is the detailed information regarding the minimum qualification marks.

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test

The candidates who are qualified in the CBT Examination are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The candidates are called for the RRB PET in a ratio of 1: 3 times the vacancy of the candidates. The candidates must know that the PET is qualifying in nature.

Note- The PWD candidates with more than 40% disability are exempted from the Physical efficiency test. Such candidates must pass the medical test.

RRB Group D Document Verification

The candidates who are qualified in the Physical efficiency test will be called for the RRB Group D Document Verification. Candidates twice the number of vacancies of the category will be called for the Document Verification. 

The candidates who miss the Document verification will not be considered for the Merit list.

• Category Certificate
• Receipt of offline payment if you made the payment through a challan at the SBI branch or Pay-in-slip at a computerized Post Office. 
• If the candidate is a widow, the death certificate of the husband should be produced.
• PWD Certificate for the PWD candidates.

RRB Group D Post Preference 2022

The candidates will be given an option to choose their preferable post from the list of following posts generated by the officials:

• Helper
• Hospital Attendant
• Pointsman
• Assistant Pointsman
• Porter
• Track Maintainer
• Gateman

Candidates then have to select one post from this list on the basis of their preference. Candidates must fulfill all the important criteria along with the most important eligibility criteria to get selected for the post of the preference.
