RRB Group D Notification 2022 was released by the board under adv. no. RRC 01/2019 (Level 1 posts) on 23rd February 2019. A total of 1,03,769 vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and other posts in various departments of the Indian Railways have been released and the exams for the same will be held on 17th August 2022. The types of posts offered in the RRB Group D are listed below.

The RRB Group D application form has been closed now. The exam will be conducted for the applications made from 12th March 2019 to 12th April 2019 on 17th August 2022. Candidates who wish to apply for the RRB Group D can keep can check on the Testbook website as the updates will be shared there as soon as the application process starts.
Until then, candidates can check the online application process and application fee for the RRB Group D notification that will help them in the future while they will be applying for the posts.
Below are the steps to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment.
Step 1: Click on the following link, you will be redirected to the official website of RRB http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/index.php
Step 2: You will find many notifications regarding various recruitments under RRB.
Step 3: Find the Notification “RRB 2019 Recruitment for Group D” and click on the link.
Step 4: You can see the different Railway Zones. Select the Railway Zone you want to apply and click on New Registration.
Step 5: Fill in the mandatory details like name, e-mail address, contact details, etc; and click on ‘I agree’.
Step 6: An OTP is sent to your Phone number and the Activation Link will be sent to the email address.
Step 7: After the verification of the email address and mobile number. A Registration Number and Password will be sent to your mail.
Step 8: Now login with your Registration number and password and provide your educational details, upload the documents like Category certificate, Marksheets etc.
Step 9: Verify all the details and click on submit once your verified complete details,
Step 10: You will be redirected to the payment gateway website once you click on submit.
Step 11: Pay the required amount and click on the submit button.
Step 12: Once the payment is successful, your application will be generated.
Step 13: Take a printout of the generated application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Candidates have to undergo 4 Stages of the selection process to get recruited by RRB Group D 2022. Candidates need to qualify each stage for selection in the technical department of the Indian Railways.
Eligibility criterias are one of the major aspects one needs to fulfill before he/she applies. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, Nationality, etc. will be rejected by the authorities. Below are the various eligibility criteria.

The nationality is the first aspect seen by the higher authorities and will proceed with the candidate for the further rounds.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen or
i) A Subject from Nepal or
ii) A Subject From Bhutan or
iii) A Tibetian who came over India before 1st January 1962 who was intended to settle in India Permanently.
iv) The candidates who are migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma to settle in India permanently.
For the candidates from i, ii, iii, iv points, an eligibility certificate should be issued from the government.

The minimum qualification marks to qualify in RRB Group D CBT examination is different for different categories. Below is the detailed information regarding the minimum qualification marks.

The candidates who are qualified in the CBT Examination are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The candidates are called for the RRB PET in a ratio of 1: 3 times the vacancy of the candidates. The candidates must know that the PET is qualifying in nature.

Note- The PWD candidates with more than 40% disability are exempted from the Physical efficiency test. Such candidates must pass the medical test.
The candidates who are qualified in the Physical efficiency test will be called for the RRB Group D Document Verification. Candidates twice the number of vacancies of the category will be called for the Document Verification.
The candidates who miss the Document verification will not be considered for the Merit list.

The candidates will be given an option to choose their preferable post from the list of following posts generated by the officials:
Candidates then have to select one post from this list on the basis of their preference. Candidates must fulfill all the important criteria along with the most important eligibility criteria to get selected for the post of the preference. In the textbox next to each role that the candidate is eligible for in the Railway they are applying to, the individual should enter their priority/preferences number.
Given below are stage-wise steps for the RRB Group D Post Preference Phase 2022:
Step 1: The candidates will have to enter their basic details in the form to proceed which will be available on the official website.
Step 2: Validation of email and mobile numbers, as well as the production of the RRB Registration Number, will have to be done in the second stage
Step 3: This is the stage where you enter your choice of posts, exam language, scribe information, educational information, and communication address information.
Step 4: It is necessary to upload scanned copies of pictures as well as a copy of the SC/ST caste certificate.
Step 5: The last stage includes the payment of application fees as well as editing.
