If the candidates have an idea about how the marks are calculated, they can form a fair idea about the results too. The steps to calculate SSC CGL Tier II Result is given below:
The normalization of marks adjusts the marks of candidates based on the difficulty level of the examination in each shift and day. This is done by comparing the marks of candidates who took the exam on the same day and shift and adjusting the marks accordingly. The process of normalization is done to eliminate the variations in the difficulty level of the question papers across the different shifts and days of the examination.
The normalization process is applied to the raw marks obtained by the candidates, and the normalized marks are used to prepare the result and the final merit list. The normalized marks are calculated by applying a statistical formula that takes into account the mean and standard deviation of the marks obtained by the candidates in each shift and day. Candidates can check their normalized marks by visiting the official website of SSC.
After completion of the Tier IV exam, the final result will be announced. This result is based on the overall score obtained in all the levels of the SSC CGL examination.
