How to Calculate Marks for the SSC JE ME Written Exam?
Applicants who are going to appear in the upcoming SSC JE ME recruitment exam can easily calculate their marks by applying the marking scheme. This marking scheme will be applicable to paper I of the written exam only. Here are some steps of instructions that an applicant can follow to calculate their individual marks:
Step 1: Download the official SSC JE ME Answer Key.
Step 2: Find out the total number of correct and incorrect answers as per the official answer key.
Step 3: Add 1 mark for every correct answer.
Step 4: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

SSC JE ME Result 2023: Resolution of Tie Cases
In cases where more than one candidate secures equal aggregate marks, the tie will be resolved by applying the following
methods one after another:
- Total marks in Paper-II.
- Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
- Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
What Next After SSC JE ME Result 2023?
After the announcement of the official SSC JE ME Results, all the selected candidates will be required to appear for the Document verification round along with the photocopies and original documents. These are listed below:
- Two Passport size recent colour photographs
- Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ PAN Card/ passport/ Driving licence/ college ID card/ employer ID/ Ex-Serviceman discharge book issued by Ministry of Defence/ any other photo id card issued by Central or State govt.)
- Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate
- Educational Qualification Certificate
- Experience Certificate, if applicable
- Caste/ Category certificate, if belongs to reserved category
- PwD certificate
- For Ex-Servicemen:
- Undertaking as per Annexure-VI
- Serving Defence Personnel Certificate as per Annexure-V, if applicable
- Discharged Certificate, off discharged from Armed Forces
- Relevant Certificate b if selling any age relaxation
- NOC, in cases already employed in Govt/Govt undertakings.
- A candidate who claims change in name after matriculation on marriage or remarriage or divorce, etc. the following documents shall be submitted:
- In case of marriage of women: Photocopy of Husband’s passport showing names of spouses or an attested copy of marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage or an Affidavit from husband and wife along with a joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner,
- In case of re-marriage of women: Divorce Deed/ Death Certificate as the case may be in respect of first spouse; and photocopy of present husband‟s passport showing names of spouse or an attested copy of marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage or an Affidavit from the husband and wife along with joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.
- In case of divorce of women: Certified copy of Divorce Decree and Deed Poll/ Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.
- In other circumstances for change of name for both male and female: Deed Poll/ Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner and paper cuttings of two leading daily newspaper in original (One daily newspaper should be of the area of applicant’s permanent and present address or nearby area) and Gazette Notification.
- Any other document specified in the Admission Certificate for DV.
