The SSC CPO Result is the result of the competitive exam organized by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF. What After SSC CPO Result Tier I

After the declaration of SSC CPO Tier 1 result, the candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam consists of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. The Paper I is an Objective Type paper while the Paper II is a descriptive type paper. The Paper I consists of 200 questions while the Paper II consists of English Language and Comprehension. SSC CPO Merit List

The SSC CPO Merit List is prepared by the Staff Selection Commission based on the marks obtained in the written examination and physical endurance test. The list is released after the completion of the recruitment process and contains the name of the candidates selected for the post along with their overall marks. The list is available on the official website of the commission. A merit list typically contains the following information:

• Names of the qualified candidates
• Roll numbers of the qualified candidates
• Scores or marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam and physical fitness test
• Overall rank of the candidates based on their scores
• Category-wise cut off marks

How to Calculate SSC CPO Marks?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to calculate the marks for both papers I and Paper II of the computer-based examination. The marking scheme for both papers is the same.

• The exam consists of a total of 200 questions carrying 200 marks.
• For every right answer given by the candidate, a +1 mark will be awarded.
• A negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
• The total marks will be calculated based on the total number of correct answers and wrong answers given.

What is Normalization of Marks for SSC CPO?

The normalization of marks is done after the exam is conducted in multiple shifts so as to consider all the shifts and the difficulty levels of question papers. Calculation of marks is taken into consideration up to 5 decimal places. Normalization is completed through the subsequent formula.

SSC CPO PET/PST

The PET/PST is conducted for those candidates who successfully qualify for the Paper 1 exam. In the Physical efficiency test, candidates will be judged based on their fitness. This test is qualifying in nature.

SSC CPO Paper 2

Paper 2 will be conducted for those candidates who qualify for the PET/PST. Paper 2 comprises English language & Comprehension. The total marks for the test are 200. Candidates qualifying for the exam are called for a Detailed Medical Examination. The steps to check the Paper 2 exam are the same as Paper 1.

SSC CPO Final Merit List

The SSC CPO final merit list will be generated based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2. After that, qualified candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

Candidates securing below these qualifying criteria will not be considered for the next stage of selection. Hence, it is mandatory for the candidates to obtain minimum qualifying marks to proceed for further stages of the SSC CPO selection process.
