SSC CGL Exam Pattern

The recruitment calls for a three-tier selection process. 

• The Tier-I will consist of questions related to the Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language for 200 marks. 
• The tier-II will consist of four papers according to the post for 100 marks each. 
• Tier-III will be a descriptive paper to test the writing skills of the candidates. 
• The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Section Officer in CSS & MEA will be attempting a Computer Proficiency Test.
• Candidates applying for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax) will be attempting the data entry skill test.
