The best way to prepare for general awareness is to go by topic rather than studying the whole subject. The general awareness subject is very vast. The major problem that students feel while preparing for general awareness is where to start. For SSC CPO Exam 2023 you should start with the Static GK since questions are directly asked from this. If you know the answer then you will quickly answer it. Static GK mainly pertains to Current Affairs, Culture, Indian History, Geography (India+World), Environment, Science & Technology, Economy, and Polity. For current affairs stay updated with current news & what’s going around you. It will include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, National & International Affairs, Awards & Honours, Persons in News, Sports, New Appointment, New Research & Technology, Book, and Authors, etc.
For Quantitative Aptitude, you need to improve your calculation speed. Almost all the students know how to solve Quant problems but the thing that makes a difference is how quickly you solve the problem & get the correct answer. In this section, you are having 50 questions so your approach of selecting the easy & less time-consuming question & solving it quickly will get you a good score. Therefore, you have to practice a lot & pay special attention to Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Data Interpretation, Profit & Loss, and Simplification. The more you practice the more quickly you are able to make a decision – which questions to target and which to not.
