OSSC CGL Vacancy 2022

As per the new notification of the OSSC CGL 2022, 88 vacancies have been released for the OSSC CGL Specialist Post. For the ongoing cycle, a total of 943 vacancies were released for the various Group B and C posts initially. Now, OSSC has introduced some new vacancies for various posts. Now, the total vacancies have been revised to 1338. Candidates can check the details for the vacancies below.

OSSC CGL Examination Apply Online 2022

Interested candidates can apply for the upcoming OSSC CGL Examination 2022 online by visiting the official website. The steps to apply online for the OSSC CGL Exam have been shared below.

Step 1: Click on the OSSC Website and go to the “New Application” section.

Step 2: Look for the link which says “Apply online” for the OSSC CGL examination. 

Step 3: Fill in all the required information and upload the mandatory documents required to complete your OSSC CGL online application.

Step 4: Recheck all the uploaded documents and details you have filled in the application form before finally submitting the OSSC CGL form.

Step 5: Application fee box will appear on the screen, make the payment through any online mode.

OSSC CGL Selection Process 2022

The OSSC CGL 2022 Group B and Group C selection process has been shared below.

• Preliminary Examination (CBRE)
• Mains Written Examination
• Skill Test (for some posts)
• Computer Skill Test (For Specialist Posts; will be qualifying in nature
• Document Verification.

OSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2022

Aspiring candidates of the OSSC Combined Graduate Level must check all the required eligibility criteria before applying for the Grade “B” and Grade "C" posts. The OSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria for the upcoming exams have been shared below. 

Age Limit(As on 01.01.2022)

The minimum and maximum age criteria to apply for the OSSC CGL Exam 2022 has been shared below. 

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 38 years.

Candidates must not be below the age of 21 years and not exceed the age limit of 38 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per govt. rules, i.e., 5 years for the SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates and 10 years for the PwD candidates. 

Educational Qualification 

The educational qualification required to apply for the OSSC Combined Graduate Examination has been shared below. 

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university or institution.
• Must have passed M.E. School Examination with Odia as a subject. 
• Passed in Odia Language Subject in the final examination of class VIII. 
• Candidates must have proficiency in computer skills.

Nationality

• Only candidates with Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the OSSC CGL Examinations.

OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022

For the revised exam pattern for the OSSC CGL Exam 2022 has been shared below. There will be two stages in the exam. Stage-I: Prelims and Stage-II Mains Examination. Candidates need to clear both stages to move forward in the selection process. 

Stage I: Preliminary Examination

• The OSSC CGL Prelims Exam will consist of only one paper. 
• The exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Recruitment Examination mode (CBRE).
• The questions will be of objective type. 
• 150 questions will be asked for 150 marks.
• A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be there.

Stage II: Mains Written Examination

The exam pattern for the main examination has been shared below.

• The questions will be short answers and objective type. 
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
• There will be different technical paper for different posts in the OSSC CGL Specialist Posts.
