• They are responsible for prescribing the possibility of Direct Recruitment to the different administrations of the State Government.

• For recommendation of the Government on the principles that need to be followed to assess the suitability of the officers for promotion.
• For creating awareness of the Government on all issues identifying with outlining of Recruitment Rules or Draft Service Rules of various branches of the Government.
• They are responsible for advising the Government on relating to the method of recruitment to Civil Services.
• For urging the Government on issues to identify with security and obsession of payment, in regard to Government workers, those were at first named according to the suggestion of the Commission.

MPPSC State Service Exam Selection Process

The selection process for MPPSC State Service exam recruitment consists of Prelims, Mains, and an Interview. Only the eligible candidates, who have filled the application form, paid the application fees on time, and fit the eligibility criteria will be allowed to give the exam. Once the candidate passes the Prelims and Mains exam, he/she will be called for an interview. After that, the Commission will verify the documents submitted by the candidate before releasing the final selection list. MPPSC State Service Exam Pattern 

The MPPSC State Service Exam pattern consists of a Prelims, Mains and an Interview. In order to qualify for the post, a candidate has to clear all the stages. Refer below to know the format of the exam.

Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam pattern of the MPPSC State Service exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. Refer to the table below for detailed information.

• Each paper will have a total of 100 questions and each right answer will be awarded 2 marks.
• The prelims stage consists of a total 400 marks and duration of which is 4 hours.
• There is no negative marking for the Prelims of MPPSC State service exam, hence a candidate is suggested to answer the maximum questions possible in the exam.
• The question paper will be both in English and Hindi Language
• The candidates appearing for the exam shall be provided with an OMR Sheet to mark the answers. Candidates should make sure that they mark the entire circle properly.
• Candidates are advised to read the instructions properly given in the OMR Sheet.
• Only the candidates who clear both the papers and achieve the cutoff marks determined by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will be qualified for the mains exam.

Main Examination

The main exams of the MPPSC State Service exam consist of a total of 6 papers. Refer to the table below for detailed information.

Interview

This is the last stage of the selection process. Only candidates who clear the Main exams of MPPSC State Service will be allowed to appear for the Interview. The Interview will be held for 175 marks. A final merit list will be released based on calculating both the marks i.e. Mains exam plus Interview scores.

One needs to carry the admit card to the exam hall along with valid ID proof and two recent photographs to be eligible to give the exam. Follow the steps mentioned below to download the admit card.

Step 6- Candidates are suggested to fill the details carefully which include the Application number, Gender, and Date of Birth, and Enter the Captcha.

Step 6-Now search your name either by roll number or your name by Ctrl +F and typing the respective details.
