Kerala SET Apply Online 2023

The candidates who hold the required eligibility criteria could apply for the Kerala SET July Exam 2023. Below we have provided the steps on how to apply.

Step 1: The registration process is the first step of the Kerala SET Application Process. Candidates must register themselves with a registered mobile number. An OTP (One time Password) will be sent to the submitted mobile number for confirmation.

Step 2: Once the registration process is completed, start filling up the application form with all details like; personal information, exam/subject choices, educational details, etc.

Step 3: The image specification of an uploaded photograph must be of 200 pixels height, 150 pixels width, not exceeding a file size 30 KB, in jpg format. Upload the required documents as per the prescribed format using the Testbook Resize Tool.

Step 4: Candidates have to then pay the application fee based on the category they fall under.

Step 5: Before applying, check if all details are correctly mentioned.

Step 6: Click on the submit button and also take a copy of the application form for further reference.

Important Instruction to take Photograph

As specified in the notification let’s have a look at important instructions required in the submission of photographs.

• The photographs must be taken within one year from the date on which the application is sent.
• Candidates must take care that the background should be white/light-colored.
• The face must be focused and be at the center of the photograph.
• The eyes should be open and vivid and glare of specs must be avoided
• Photographs should be without a cap or goggles (except those worn in adherence to religious custom).
• Photos taken by mobile phone, webcam, or Polaroid camera and photos which are computer-generated are not acceptable.
• Avoid wearing light-colored dresses should be used in the photographs.

Scribe Details

Candidates who want to avail scribe facility and the relaxation in marks of differently challenged must send the printout of their online application and the copy of the medical certificate (attested by Gazetted Officer) to LBS Centre.

The candidates who will be filling in the application form and submitting it, have to ensure they pay the required application fee. The Kerala SET exam consists of two stages of individual papers.

Candidates who qualify for the Kerala SET exam can visit the official website and download the Kerala SET certificate. The Kerala SET certificate will be valid for one year from the issue date. After the end of the validity period, candidates will need to pay an additional fee and then get the certificate. Those who apply for a SET certificate after the elapse of one year from the date of publication of results are required to pay a late fee of 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) for the next one year and an additional amount of 250/ - (Rs. Two hundred and fifty only) for each subsequent year, thereafter. Candidates need to pay fees as demand draft drawn from a Nationalized Bank in favor of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
