IB Security Assistant Executive Eligibility Criteria 2018
A. Age Limit
- Maximum Age – 27 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
B. Educational Qualification
- You must have completed matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board of education.
- You must have the knowledge of any one of the local languages/dialects as per requirement of the post where you should be able to read, write and speak in that language/dialect.
- Desirable – Field experience in Intelligence work.
IB Security Assistant Executive Selection Procedure 2018
Candidates will have to go through 3 stages of selection to get qualified as Security Assistant/Executive with the Intelligence Bureau of India. These are
- Tier I (Objective Test)
- Tier II (Descriptive + Spoken Ability)
- Interview/Personality Test
IB Security Assistant Executive Exam Pattern 2018
The Tier I examination will be a written test. There will be four sections with a total of 100 multiple choice questions.

More About IB Security Assistant Executive Recruitment 2018
- KNOWLEDGE OF LOCAL LANGUAGE/DIALECT: Candidates applying for the vacancies of a particular SIB/centre are required to possess knowledge of any one of the local language(s)/dialect(s) indicated against it. They should be able to read, write and speak in that language/dialect.
- SERVICE LIABILITY: The post involves All India Transfer liability. Therefore, the candidates willing to serve anywhere in India only need to apply.
- On the basis of their performance in Tier-I exam, candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II & Tier-III exam at 10 times the number of vacancies.
