NOTE: For the candidates applying for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer), persons with disabilities will have to meet the physical standards i.e. height, chest, and weight as prescribed for the relevant post. However, for orthopedically disabled candidates, the following relaxation in Physical Test is allowed:

People With Disabilities (PwDs) are eligible to appear for the SSC CGL exam with special eligibility criteria. Candidates must have 40% or more disability to be eligible to come under persons with disability. They are provided with certain relaxations in the criteria set by SSC. The applicant must attach the disability certificate issued by the Medical Board along with the application form. SSC CGL eligibility for people with disabilities is given below:

Though there is no defined number of attempts. It depends upon which age group a candidate falls. For instance, if a candidate is trying for the post of an inspector in central excise and has started appearing from the age of 21 years then he can give exams until he reaches the age of 30 years. So the number of attempts will be restricted to 9. If the Commission updates any specific number of attempts we will update the same here.

Scribe is provided for such candidates who have any kind of disabilities and they cannot write their exams or mark answers on computers. SSC CGL final answer key for Tier I exam to be available on the commission's website from 27th February 2023 to 13th March 2023. For the Tier II exam, the SSC CGL application status link is active for various regions. Earlier, the SSC CGL Tier I 2022 Result for Tier I was released on 9th February 2023. A total number of 37409 vacancies are released for SSC CGL Recruitment.The SSC CGL Tier-II exam is scheduled to take place from 2nd March to 7th March 2023.
