The Board will be giving certain age relaxations to the candidates who have represented at the State, National, or International Level. The discipline of sports for which the relaxations are Archery, Cycling, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Hockey, Table Tennis, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Shooting, Swimming, Judo, Kho-Kho, and Karate, etc.
Note- The sports certificate and the photograph of the candidate will be duly attested by the board.
Along with the other eligibility criteria, the candidates must also have to submit the professional requirements as mentioned below.
English typing pace on computer- 30 words per minute
OR
Hindi typing pace on computer- 25 words per minute

Once the Written Examination has been completed, applicants like (the ex-serviceman) will be required to appear for the PET physical endurance test. The criterion is given in the table below.

There are certain guidelines for physical measurements by the Delhi police head constable, as they differ in the categories of men and women. The women do not have a specified chest measurement but the men need to have one. To qualify for this phase of PST, you need to have basic physical measurements.
Relaxation: Candidates who reside in the hilly regions such as Garvalis, Kumanois, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, and Ladakh are allowed to have 160 cms of height (5 cms of relaxation). A Hill area certificate from the relevant authority is required for the applicants for that relaxation.
Relaxation: Relaxation of 5 cms for candidates who are residents of the hilly region with a Hill area certificate from the relevant authority.
Note- The candidates who qualify for the PET will be eligible for the second round, which is the PST or the Physical Standards Test.

The candidates who apply for the recruitment must be Indian Nationals.
The Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment will consist of four stages in the selection process. Only if the candidates complete all the Delhi Police Head Constable selection process will they be considered available for the post. Check the selection process as given below.
The computer-based examination will be an objective-type questions exam which will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. The exam will consist of five different subjects. Candidates who clear this stage will be eligible for the next stage of the selection process.
The candidates who will be attending the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test will have to meet certain criteria as set by the board. This stage will be qualifying in nature. Only the candidates who clear this stage with all the needed criteria will be called up for the next stage of the selection process.

The candidates who attend stage three of the selection process will have to go through a Computer Typing Test. In this stage, the candidate's typing speed will be tested by the board and the test will be conducted for a total of 25 marks. These marks will be taken into consideration at the time of preparing the final result.
The candidates who qualify for the computer test will have to attend the computer formatting test in which they will be tested on MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Excel. This exam will be qualifying in nature. Once the candidate qualifies at this stage, he/she will be shortlisted for the post. The candidates who make it to the final merit list as set by the board will be selected for the Delhi Police Head Constable post.
Applicants are supposed to take the medical test for their safety and carry the certificates along with them before writing the examination. The Delhi Police Head constable Medical test is to be taken under the civil surgeon.
