DSSSB PGT New Notification Released on 19th December 2022! The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts various important recruitment examinations and one of them is the DSSSB PGT exam. PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher. In its recent recruitment notification(Advt no 09/2022), DSSSB has released 6 vacancies for Economics (Female). Earlier, in Advt. no 07/22, the DSSSB had released a total of 142 vacancies. The application process for all the DSSSB recruitments takes place online.

• DSSSB PGT Economics application process will commence on 3rd January 2023 and the last date to fill up the application forms will be 1st February 2023.
• The selection of the candidates for the post of DSSSB PGT Economics will be based on one tier examination.
• The upper age limit of the candidates must be 36 years to be eligible for DSSSB PGT.
• The post of PGT is a group B post that provides a pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800/-

DSSSB PGT Apply Online 2022

The interested candidates who wish to apply for the upcoming exams can follow the steps given further.

Step 1: Proceed to DSSSB Official Website.

Step 2: The candidates need to proceed towards "Click for New Registration".

Step 3: After successful registration, log in with your credentials.

Step 4: Fill in all the required details like category, details, address, etc

Step 5: Upload the scanned images of recent passport-size photograph, signature, and required documents. The applicants can also use the Testbook Resize Tool.

Step 5: Pay the required application fee and submit your application form.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of this application form for future reference.

Application Fee

For advt no 09/2022, only women candidates are eligible and the women candidates are exempted from application fee. The applicants need to submit the application fee only through SBI e-pay. Any other mode of payment will not be considered and the application of such candidates will be rejected. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The eligibility has been defined by the DSSSB on the grounds of educational qualification, age limit, and nationality. The eligibility shall be determined as on the last date for submission of applications.

DSSB PGT Selection Process

For advt no 09/2022, the selection process will consist of a single tier examination. For the advt no 07/2022, DSSSB shall conduct One Tier and Two Tier Examination for the DSSSB PGT recruitment. However, the DSSSB reserves the right to amend or change the examination scheme any time before the examination, if required.

DSSSB PGT Exam Pattern 2022

• The questions asked in the exams shall be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the language papers.
• There shall be negative marking applicable and a deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong MCQ answer.

Note: The below mentioned exam pattern is applicable for DSSSB PGT Economics (Female) too.

Section B shall consist of post-specific subject-related questions. Hence the syllabus topics shall be as per the qualification prescribed in the recruitment rules for the post. In the case of the Two-Tier Examination Scheme, the Syllabus of the TIER-I Exam will be the same as of the One Tier exam as discussed above.

Syllabus of DSSSB PGT TIER-II Exam

Part-I shall consist of MCQ/Objective type questions based on :

• General Intelligence & reasoning ability - same as in One Tier exam but with a slightly higher level
• Quantitative Aptitude - In addition to Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities as in tier-I with a slightly higher level there will be questions on data interpretation & Analysis.
• General Awareness- in addition to topics given for Tier-I there shall be questions on history, culture, demography, geography & economy of Delhi, Administrative setup and Governance in NCT of Delhi, various schemes of Delhi Govt.
• English language & Comprehension - same as in tier-I but with a slightly higher level.

The Part-II of the paper shall be Descriptive in nature.

DSSSB PGT Admit Card

The DSSSB has release the admit card online on its official website. No hard copy shall be provided to any candidate. The candidates need to log in and download their admit card, which in turn shall be printed. The steps to download are as follows:

Step 1: Proceed to DSSSB Online Official Website and proceed to admit card link.

Step 2: Enter your Username and Password.

Step 3: Login and download your admit card.

Step 4: Take a print on clean and white A4-sized paper.

DSSSB PGT Answer Key

The DSSSB releases an answer key which shall consist of the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. The candidates shall also be given a time period within which they can object to the solutions provided in the answer key if the candidate feels that the solutions are wrong. The candidate may also have to pay a charge per objection. After considering the objections, the DSSSB shall release the final answer key.

DSSSB PGT Cut Off

The candidates need to have an idea regarding the previous year's cut-off marks which shall help them in setting up the target accordingly. For reference, the candidates can have a look at the cut-off marks out of 300 marks for the year 2019.

DSSSB PGT Result 2022

Once all the selection stages are completed, the DSSSB shall release the result on its official website. The result shall be released in the form of a merit list. The result shall consist of a list of successful candidates.
