SSC CHSL Document Required At The Time of Application 

SSC provided guidelines for uploading the candidate's photograph and signature, including dimensions and image size. Candidates should maintain the following instructions on hand before beginning the SSC CHSL Application procedure.

List of Documents Required For SSC CHSL Along With Admit Card

Candidate must ensure that they meet the SSC eligibility criteria before registering for the SSC CHSL 2022 Examination. It should also be emphasised that the application form must be completed online through the official website. Some vital documents are required when submitting an online application. The list of documents required for SSC CHSL is provided below.

Two Passport size photographs

Original valid Photo-ID proof with Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate. Any of the following can be considered for this purpose -

• Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar
• Voter’s ID Card
• Driving License
• PAN Card
• Passport
• ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
• Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU)
•  Ministry of Defence issued Ex-serviceman Discharge Book 
• Any other photo bearing valid ID card issued by the Central/ State Government.

All candidates must submit following documents:

• Class Xth Passing Certificate
• Class XIIth Passing Certificate
• In the case of an equivalent qualification, candidates must show a letter/order from the appropriate authority supporting their claim of educational qualification.
• Certificate claiming to be from the candidates' category/caste.
• a certificate validating the claim of physical disability (for PwD category candidates).

As Mentioned in Official Notification released by SSC. Following points need to be noted.

• If the date of birth is not printed on the Photo Identity Card, the candidate must have a second original document (such as a Matriculation Certificate, a Marks Sheet exclusively provided by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards, a Birth Certificate, or a Category Certificate) as confirmation of their date of birth. The candidate will not be permitted to take the exam if the date of birth on the admission certificate and the photo ID or certificate presented as proof of date of birth do not match.
• PwD candidates using the scribes' services also needed to carry the appropriate medical documentation, such as a medical certificate or undertaking, as well as a photocopy of the scribe's photo ID. Candidates won't be able to take the test if they don't have these documents.
• The candidates must bring any additional documentation listed on the admission certificate with them when they take the exam.
• Applications containing an unclear signature or photograph will be rejected.

List of Documents Required For SSC CHSL DV Process

All the candidates qualified for SSC CHSL Document Verification (DV) are required to appear for DV along with the photocopies and original documents

• Two Passport size photographs
• Valid Photo Id. Any of the following can be considered for this purpose -
  • Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar
  • Voter’s ID Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
  • Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU)
  • The Ministry of Defense issued the Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book.
  • Any other legitimate ID card with a photo that was issued by the federal or state governments.

Candidates must submit copies of a variety of documents, including:

• Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate. 
• Educational Qualification Certificate. 
• If a candidate affirms that a particular qualification is an equivalent qualification, the order or letter must state the authority (along with the relevant authority number and date) under which the qualification has been taken into account in relation to the equivalent clause in the required qualifications.Caste/Category Certificate, if a member of a protected category.
• Certificate of Persons with Disabilities in the necessary format, if applicable.
• For Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Undertaking in accordance with Annexure-VIII, Serving Defence Personnel Certificate in accordance with Annexure-VII, and, if appropriate, a "Discharge Certificate," if the ESM has been released from the Armed Forces.
• To get an age reduction Relevant Certificate is required
• If you are currently employed by the government or a government agency, a No Objection Certificate is required.
• The following documentation must be presented by a candidate who claims a change in name following matriculation due to marriage, remarriage, divorce, etc.
• When a woman marries a man, the following documents must be presented: a photocopy of the husband's passport showing the names of the couple; a certified copy of the marriage licence issued by the Registrar of Marriages; or an affidavit from the couple accompanied by a joint photograph duly attested before the Oath Commissioner.
• The following documents must be presented in the event that a woman remarries: a divorce decree or death certificate, as applicable, regarding the first spouse; a photocopy of the present husband's passport showing the names of the spouse; an attested copy of the marriage licence issued by the Registrar of Marriages; or an affidavit from the husband and wife with a joint photograph duly attested before the Oath Commissioner.
• Women who are divorcing must provide a certified copy of the divorce decree and a properly sworn Deed Poll/Affidavit to the Oath Commissioner.
• Deed Page 19 of 65 Poll/Affidavit properly sworn before the Oath Commissioner, paper clippings from two major daily newspapers in original (one daily newspaper should be of the area of applicant's permanent and present address or nearby area), and Gazette Notification are also required in other cases for change of name for both male and female applicants. Any other document specified in the Admission Certificate for DV may also be required.

Points to Remember While Submitting SSC CHSL Documents

While submitting the SSC CHSL documents candidates need to make sure that these points are taken care of.

• Don't give out incorrect information.
• Always double-check the form before submitting them
• Check the condition of your documents.
• Always keep a photocopy of any documents you have.
• Always have extra photographs on hand in case of an emergency.
• Keep more than two forms of identification.
