Delhi Police Driver Final Answer Key has been released. The final key released based on the objections made by the candidates on the tentative key. Earlier, Delhi Police Driver Result has been released on 29th December 2022! The candidates who have cleared the CBE are eligible to appear in the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). The Delhi Police Driver examination was held on 21st October 2022. The SSC will soon release the exam dates for the next stage which is the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT).
Delhi Police Driver exam conducting authority has not declared the exam dates for the 2023 cycle yet. Delhi Police Driver Tentative Answer Key was released on 4th November 2022! The CBE for Delhi Police Driver was conducted on 21st October 2022. The Delhi Police had announced a total of 1411 vacancies for the post of Driver for 2022. The total number of vacancies will be updated as per the 2023 notification once it is released. Candidates who have completed class 12th from a recognized education board were eligible to apply. The Delhi Police Driver Application Form 2023 must be submitted in online mode. The application has to be filled in carefully to avoid any discrepancies or mistakes in it. Step 1: Visit the official website of the SSC https://ssc.nic.in/.
Step 2: On the SSC homepage click on the ‘Apply’ option.
Step 3: Search for the ‘Constable (Driver) - Male in Delhi Police Examination’ link. Click on the link.
Step 4: You will get a ‘Login to Apply for the examination’ prompt. Click on ‘Ok’.
Step 5: You will be redirected back to the SSC homepage, where you will find the Login section. If you are a new user, click on ‘Register Now’ and enter all your details in the next page to generate your registration number and password, else login with your pre-registered details.
Step 6: Fill in the application with the required details, and make sure that the details are correctly entered and there is no discrepancy.
Step 7: Once the application form is filled, attach the required scanned documents, and review the details filled in the application form.
Step 8: Before submitting the application form, pay the required application fee using an online payment gateway. Download the application form once submitted and get a printout of it for future reference.
Before submitting the application form, the candidates are required to pay the application fee to complete the application process. The application fee has to be paid within the prescribed time limit. Any failure or delay in the payment may lead to the cancellation of the application. The Delhi Police Driver Selection Process is conducted in three phases beginning with a computer-based examination, then the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE & MT), and the Trade test. The same can be expected for 2023. In case of any change in the selection process for the 2023 cycle will be updated in the official notification. The details regarding these stages are given below.
The candidates are required to clear the computer-based examination for further consideration. The examination is of 100 marks and is an objective type paper. The examination covers four topics such as General Awareness, General Intelligence, and so on.
The second step in the Delhi Police Driver selection process is bifurcated into Physical Endurance and Measurement Test with the first one being a qualifying round. The candidates have to outshine others in the 1600m long race, High and Long Jump to clear the Physical Endurance Test. The Physical Measurement Test will be taken for candidates who qualify the Endurance Test and includes height and chest measurement where the listed variables must be above the specified limit. Furthermore, the candidates have to pass the medical test to make sure they do not suffer from any ailment.
The trade test is a qualifying round wherein the driving skills of the candidates are tested. It is subdivided into a Heavy vehicle driving test, Light Vehicle driving test, knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and traffic signs/symbols. Based on these tests, the candidates will be selected for the Delhi Police Driver post. Note that the candidate must be equipped with a valid driving license else the legal action will be taken for forged license.
There are certain medical standards that have been set by the Delhi Police Recruitment Board that the Delhi Police Driver must meet, in order to get selected for the post. The Medical Standards have been discussed further in detail.
Before allotting the post of Delhi Police Driver to the selected candidates, the document verification of the candidates is necessary. Document or Certificate Verification is carried out to verify candidates’ credentials and personal information. Here is the list of certificates or documents required for the verification process.
The Delhi Police Driver eligibility criteria has certain points that the candidates must go through, to avoid cancellation of the application. The eligibility criteria include the educational qualifications, age limit, and vehicular knowledge of the aspirants.
The applicants must be above 21 years to be eligible for the Delhi Police Driver Recruitment. The range for the age limit is 21-30 years under normal circumstances.
Apart from this, the department allows relaxations in the upper age limit in certain cases. The upper age limit for the following categories are:
A ‘departmental candidate’ is one who has rendered regular services in Delhi Police for 3 continuous years and fulfills all other educational and physical qualifications. There are certain physical requirements set by the Delhi Police Recruitment Board, for candidates who want to join the Delhi Police Services in the post of Delhi Police Constable (Driver). This is a qualifying round and carries no marks.

Note: The candidates who qualify the Race will be eligible to appear for the Long Jump and High Jump. Only 3 chances will be given to qualify the Long Jump and High Jump and candidates have to clear them in any one of the three chances. There is no provision to appeal against disqualification in the Race, Long Jump, and Hugh Jump.

The Trade Test is conducted to test the driving skills of the appearing candidates. Only those who possess a valid driving licence shall be eligible for this stage of selection. Step 4: Get a printout of the hall ticket either in colored or black and white format.
The Delhi Police Driver cut off list is prepared by the Delhi Police Department once the examination is conducted. It is based on various factors such as the number of applicants, the total number of vacant seats, and the overall performance of the candidates. The Delhi Police Constable (Driver) Cutoffs will only be released for the computer based exam, as PE & MT and Trade Test are qualifying examinations.
However, the official Delhi Police notification 2023 has not been released, hence, the minimum qualifying marks have not been released yet for 2023. These marks should be secured by the candidates in the Computer Based Exam to qualify for the PE & MT.
