The Forest Department of Delhi has released the supplementary result for Delhi Forest Guard. The result is announced for the 2019 cycle. A total number of 253 candidates are shortlisted for the post of Forest Guard. The department has also released the Document Verification/Physical Endurance Test date for the selected candidates for the 2019 cycle. The DV is scheduled to be conducted on 8th August 2022. The Delhi Forest Department has released the final result for the Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment (2019-20 cycle). However, the selection of the candidates is provisional until they clear the Medical Examination before the final appointment. The cut off marks have also been released along with the final result.

The official Delhi Forest Guard Recruitment 2023 notification has not been released yet. For now, Interested candidates can go through the total number of vacancies in Delhi Forest Guard recruitment 2019. The maximum number of vacancies are available under the post of Forest Guard, which is 211, and the least number of posts fall under the post of Forest Ranger, i.e. 4. Candidates are requested to fill in the online application form with utmost care and caution. No modifications will be allowed after the last date specified for applying online. The Department of Forests & Wildlife will not enter into any correspondence.
The application will get rejected if the guidelines for uploading the required softcopies are not followed. Incomplete or defective applications shall be summarily rejected
To apply for this recruitment, an applicant must satisfy three criteria of eligibility, namely age criterion, nationality, and educational criterion. If the candidate is found ineligible for the said post following applicable criteria for eligibility framed by the Department even after the issue of this offer of appointment, the same will stand withdrawn without any notice. If any of the applicant's claims are incorrect, he/she will be liable to appropriate legal/criminal action by the Department of Forests & Wildlife. The selection for the post of Forest Ranger, Forest Guard, and Wildlife Guard is expected to take place in three steps. The three stages are discussed below in detail.

i) General Awareness:
Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such a matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions, etc.
(ii) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability:
The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and nonverbal types. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.
(iii) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability:
The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Menstruation, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc. of 10th level.
(iv) & (v) Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension:
In addition to the testing of a candidate's understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc. would also be covered. Reasoning Ability.
The selection process will consist of two tests i.e Computer-based online tests and physical tests. In the computer-based online test, each question will carry one mark. In order to avoid guesswork, a negative marking scheme will be applicable. 1/4th of the mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The Delhi Forest Guard Exam Pattern followed for the computer-based online test will be different for Forest ranger and the rest of the two posts. The other test i.e the physical test will be applicable only for the posts of Forest Ranger and Forest guard and will not be conducted for the Wildlife Guard. Under this test, candidates satisfying the minimum physical measurements will have to undertake a running test.
The computer-based online test will be conducted in the exam centres in Delhi NCT. Each question will carry one mark. The following four sections will be asked in the computer-based online test for all the posts i.e General intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. Technical subjects like PCM/PCMB will be covered only for the post of Forest Ranger. The exam pattern for the post of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard is the same.
The sections asked in this test can be broadly classified into two types i.e General Aptitude and Science. General aptitude covers four sections namely general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. The science section will cover subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. The number of questions and allotted marks are divided equally between these two main sections i.e 100 questions will carry 100 marks. The duration of this test will be 3 hours.

The sections under General aptitude namely general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension will carry a total of 160 marks. The Hindi language section will carry 40 marks and will cover 40 questions of the test. The duration of this test will be for two hours.

The exam pattern for this test is the same as that of the Forest guard. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
