Factors Which Will Affect SSC CHSL Cut Off
The Staff Selection Commission will decide the Cut off for Tier I and Tier II on various factors. Therefore, before you start your exam preparations, we advise you to make a note of them. Here are the factors which will affect the SSC CHSL Cut off in 2022.

How To Calculate SSC CHSL marks for Tier I?
You should know how to calculate the Tier I marks beforehand as it will allow you to predict your score even before the results are out. To do this, you must know the marking system and exam pattern adopted by the Staff Selection Commission for CHSL Tier I examination. Here is how the exam is structured and how marks are assigned in the SSC CHSL Tier I.
- This exam will have 100 objective questions for a total of 200 marks.
- There will be 25 questions each in four sections of the Tier I exam.
- You will get 2 marks for every correct answer whereas a deduction of 0.5 marks will be done for every wrong answer.

SSC CHSL Resolution of Tie Cases
In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregates marks in Tier-I + Tier-II, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:
- Total marks of SSC CHSL Tier-II Examination, candidates with more marks in the tier II examination will be given preference.
- The date of birth of the candidates, candidates who are older will be given preference and will be placed higher.
- The third way of resolution will be alphabetical order in which names of the candidates appear, candidates will give preference according to their initial alphabet.
