Step 1: Apply online by visiting the SSC website or clicking on the aforementioned link.

Step 2: Log in or Register Now as New User.

Step 3: Move to “Careers” tab to click on the e-recruitment link. 

Step 4: Now provide your personal information including your name, password, and registration number as per format.

Step 6: Check all details and click on “Submit”. Next, pay the application fee. 

Step 7: Print a hard copy of the form with the registration number for future reference.

SSC GD Constable CRPF Selection Process 2022

The selection process for SSC GD Constable Central Reserve Police Force is similar to all other CAPFs for Constable rank. Candidates have to undergo 3 stages, followed by a Document Verification round, to clear the recruitment process as mentioned below -

• Computer-Based Exam (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME)

SSC GD Constable CRPF Eligibility Criteria 2022

The SSC GD Constable CRPF Eligibility criteria is equivalent to GD Constable recruitment in other Central Armed Police Forces. Candidates must check the age limit, educational qualification as on 1st January 2023. We’ve also included the official SSC GD CRPF Retirement Age for your convenience. 

1. Age Limit

As per official SSC criteria, candidates must have been born between February 1, 2000, and January 1, 2005.

• Minimum - 18 years
• Maximum - 23 years

Age Relaxation

As per the official notification, candidates belonging to reserved categories like OBC, SC/ST, ESM, and dependents of victims of 1984/2002 Gujarat riots are eligible for age relaxation of a maximum of 3 to 10 years, as per respective categories. 2. Educational Qualification & Nationality

As of 1st Jan, 2023, the Staff Selection Commission has set the educational criteria for CRPF and other CAPF Constable recruitments. 

• The candidate must be an Indian. 
• The applicant must submit a Domicile/ Permanent Residential Certificate of his/her State or Union Territory in the application form at the time of Document Verification.
• The candidate must be a Matriculation/10th Pass from a recognized university/Board as per Govt. regulations. 
• The applicant must have original educational certificates as per prescribed dates at the time of the exam to be eligible for giving the exam.

3. Retirement Age

As per a January 2019 Delhi HC verdict, the MHA has fixed uniform retirement age for regular CAPF cadres. The CRPF GD retirement age for Constable rank is 60 years as per Home Ministry regulations. It means a cadre can work a maximum of between 37 to 42 years as per his age during the time of recruitment.

Post retirement, the cadres also receive a pension as per National Pension Scheme (NPS) alongside other Gratuity and Leave encashment benefits. 

SSC GD Constable CRPF Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2022

As per the official SSC GD Constable notification, the exam pattern for GD Constable CRPF has been revised like all other CAPFs. Check the table below to get a better understanding of the exam pattern and syllabus for SSC GD Constable CRPF exam. 

• The GD Constable CRPF Computer-based exam consists of four different sections such as General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, English/Hindi, and Elementary Maths
• Each section will carry 20 questions for 40 marks.
• 0.50 negative marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• The paper will be conducted in English and Hindi language.

SSC GD Constable CRPF Physical Standards Test

Candidates need to have the minimum chest, height, and waist requirements to clear the GD Constable CRPF PST as mentioned below -

• Height: Male (170 cm) and Female (157 cm).
• Chest: Unexpanded 80 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm for males
• Weight: Proportionate to the height and medical standards of males & females.

SSC GD Constable CRPF Physical Efficiency Test

The details of the GD Constable CRPF PST are for Race as follows -

• For candidates outside Ladakh region, males need to complete 5 Kms in 24 minutes, and 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes for females. 
• For Ladakh candidates, 1.6 Kms in 6 ½ minutes, and 800 metres in 4 mins for females.

Candidates completing both PST and PET rounds will be eligible for the Document Verification round for appearing in the merit list.

SSC GD Constable CRPF Admit Card 2022

The SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2022 will be released at the Regional Offices of the Commission website as well as on the CRPF Website. The admit card will not be sent by post/division/faculty. Candidates must make the SSC GD CRPF admit card download from Regional Office concerned and the nodal CAPF. So, how to do it? Log in to the official website and view SSC GD Constable admit card after putting in your personal credentials, documents & application number. You will need to download the CRPF SSC GD admit card for each stage separately upon release. For eg, the DME round will require downloading CRPF SSC GD medical admit card.

SSC GD Constable CRPF Salary & Job Profile

Since the release of the 7th Pay Commission, the monthly salary of an SSC CRPF GD Constable is Rs. 23,527, joined with basic pay of Rs. 21,700. GD CRPF cadres come under Pay-level 3 (Rs 21,700 - Rs. 69,100). The CRPF GD Constable Grade pay is Rs 2000 (Pay band-1).
