Application Fee

For male candidates of General/ EWS/ OBC, the examination fee is Rs 100. For SC/ST/Ex Servicemen and Female candidates, the examination fee is Nil as they are exempted.

CRPF Assistant Sub Inspector Stenographer Educational Qualification

If we talk about the educational qualification, the candidates must have passed the Intermediate or Class 12th or equivalent from the university or board recognized by any State/ Central Govt.

CRPF Assistant Sub Inspector Stenographer Age Criteria (As of 25th January 2023)

The candidates will have to meet the below mentioned criteria:

Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years

Maximum Age Limit: 25 Years

Candidates should not be born before 26th January 1998 or after 25th January 2005.

CRPF Assistant Sub Inspector Stenographer Nationality 

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before he 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and, Zanzibar, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India..
• A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the Test but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

CRPF ASI Exam Pattern 2022-23

Check out the exam pattern below and also note that Section B, C and D will be bilingual. There will also be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

For Skill Test, there will be dictation @ 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. For transcription, 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on Computer.

CRPF ASI 2022-23 Salary 

The candidates who will be finally selected will be paid according to pay level 05. The salary they will receive will range between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
