How to Raise Objections Against SSC CHSL Answer Key

Candidates are allowed to raise an objection against the answer key if they disagree with any of the answer marks by the authority. SSC releases a tentative answer key for the candidates to raise their objections where they need to pay a sum of INR 100/- for each question. After the objections are raised, the SSC release the final answer key with further does not entertain any objection. Go through the steps below to know how to challenge the SSC CHSL answer key.

SSC CHSL Answer Key (Final) 

The SSC CHSL final answer key is the final set of answers released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam. The final answer key will be released by SSC once the objections raised against the tentative answer key will be accepted or rejected by the board. The tentative answer key will be released after the evaluation process is completed, and it helps candidates to have a rough idea about the marks obtained in the exam. Candidates can also challenge the SSC CHSL answer key if they feel that some of the answers are incorrect. And after the evaluation of objections raised by the candidates, SSC will release the final answer key and cut off will also be based on the final answer key released by the SSC.

How to Calculate Marks From SSC CHSL Answer Key

The total marks of SSC CHSL Tier I is 200 and the number of questions is 100. For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. So the candidate should be careful while attending the questions as there is a chance of losing marks. A generalized way to calculate the marks is as follows-

• Total Marks= Number Of Correct Answers*2 - Number Of Wrong Answers*0.5

SSC CHSL Answer Key: Cut-Off

SSC CHSL Cut off is used to determine the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must secure in order to qualify for the exam. The cut off marks are decided based on the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of vacancies available. SSC CHSL Answer Key: Result

SSC will release the cut-off, a few days after the release of the final answer key. Candidates can check their result with the help of their roll number provided in the admit card and check whether they have cleared the cut-off. Cut off notice released by the SSC will be having minimum marks for the different posts and different categories like General, OBC, SC, ST and others. Candidates who will receive marks equal or more than the cut-off will be allowed to appear in the tier 2 of SSC CHSL 2022.
